Curriculum:
The Academic Year comprises of two terms
I Term from Apr –Sep
II Term from Oct-Mar (Followed by summer vacation)
Each period is of 40 Mints duration,8 Periods a day and 5 days a week
Pre-Primary Curriculum
The curriculum has a healthy mix of formal and informal education which enhances an all-round development and growth of a child through play way methodology of teaching, which includes the children, the reading, writing and arithmetic are also encouraged to participate in various group activities.
At the pre-primary level they are exposed to singing, playactivity, field trips, celebration, festivals, puppet shows and cultural events, colour day, Grandparentsday, petday, sportsday, annual day etc.
Primary School Curriculum
Children are encouraged to become aware of their world, to learn and develop basic concept of language, mathematics,social scienceand to recognize their interpretation between different subjects.
PT,Yoga,Music ,Dance, Art/Craft and Chess are the part of the curriculum and help to develop as aesthetic senses over logical thinking ,Creativity, and positive attitude play fitness.
Assessment
Students of KG are assessed through continuous observation.
STD I – V have 5 unit test and 2 summative assessment examination.
STD VI– VII have 5 unit test,2 Mid-term Test and 2 summative assessment examination.
Morning Assembly
Every day the school begins with an assembly.
Activities
Educational Tour
Visits are arranged to places of cultural, scientific, Historical and Geographical importance and significance. This will cultivate sense of pride of the national heritage of our country, India.
This will enable them to understand; help to build foundation of patriotism, love for mankind and nature and the responsible future citizens. Each within as an educational trip
Cooperation through competition
To inculcate healthy sprit of competition awards/prizes are distributed to the students for their best performances also act as motivations for students to constantly shine for excellence in various fields.
Games and athletics
We offer outdoor games like football, volley ball, hand ball, athletics, etc., indoor games like Chess,Carrom , etc., student are encouraged to participate in interschool tournaments.
ECA:
We offer Kung-Fu, Music, folk and classical dance, yoga, Phonics, Robotics, Abacus and LA Etc.
Extension Activities
Out Reach Programme
Our Staff extends their service every week in educating students in Government School.
Community Programme:
School conducts monthly programme with the people who had poor family background and came up in their lives to motivate our school children.
